Alice Ballinari

Born and raised in Lugano, Switzerland, she inherited a rich musical culture before studying in Lausanne and later in Bern, where she enriched her classical, jazz, and pop sensibilities. Active across Switzerland’s three linguistic regions and having participated in some of the country’s most iconic festivals, she released her first single, Better Day, in 2025, followed by her first EP, Getaway, in 2026.

As Alice’s sound constantly navigates various styles and cultural backgrounds, her music can be described as a hybrid of electronics and acoustics, aiming to break the rules of pop culture. Drums, electric bass, and synths are often softened by string quartets and vocal choirs, creating a unique texture of contrasting colours.

In her mid-twenties, Alice can’t help but express the struggles of her own generation as she tries to find her place within society—dealing with nostalgia, disappointment, and that familiar uncertainty about the future, but always with a spark of hope.

Alice’s work has been warmly received by the Swiss press and radio stations, including RSI Rete Due, RTS Option Musique, RTS Couleur 3, and others. With a new EP in the works, the artist is preparing for an upcoming tour, eager to reach a wider audience.
